Sir I  would like to ask you one question... How do you draw hair? Erasing with eraser(if yes... then what type of eraser) or with any white colour pencil(if pencil then which type of pencil)?

hi ddZim..Happy New Year to you and all yours!

Hey!  I received some charcoal pencils for Christmas. So, I'm learning to work with them, and started trying portraits. How exciting!  I've been learning a lot already, looking at other people's work and video tutorials on youtube.

What kind of paper do you work on dd?  I used some grey toned paper, but find you can only rub out so much on there. Then two days ag I found there's charcoal paper, so I've used that. That goes better.  But it's very grainy I find, hard to do little details.  Would you mind advising me on the best paper to use, please?

Also, If you wouldn't mind taking a peek in my gallery at the last few deviations I added..  Maybe you have some hints and tips for me?  Am I on the right way to improving what I'm doing?  I think I am, but would love some advice. So.. if you have the time?
