Pencil: Normal pencils, white colored pencil and white pastel.
Paper: Canson Mi-Teintes, color "gris siel" (I think). It is a heavily textured blueish grey.
Size 50 x 55 cm.

looks remarkable dirk.

the skin texture is fantastic, i like the focus on the features too. I still need to practice my skin.

The paper looks very heavy, has it a high rag content?

The paper rather thin ( 60 pound, 160 g/m²;)but it is heavily specked with (mostly) in this case blue fibers.

wow, i was way off :D

ive yet to try high fiber paper, ive been looking into getting some bristol board to see how it holds the graphite. Have you had any experience with bristol paper? ive heard good things about it.

I think you could make a great movie if you morphed slowly from WIP to WIP. Great work being materializing out of nothingness.

Ofc, there is already stuff like that, but your work is especially suited because you work on the whole drawing at the same time as opposed to working area by area.
