Oh my! This is different! Very existential. It is so different from your last work, kind'a like the other side of the last one.
The eye (my eye) goes straight to those teeth, then up to the space where the white noise is...where the eyes are. But the eyes are not there. Eyes say so much in a composition, but there they replaced by the white noise. So it is up to the mouth to express the emotion and tension. The mouth and all of the lines surrounding it...even the whiskers seem to get into the act by sticking out the way they do!
And then you notice that the rest of his head is not there...as if it has all been absorbed by the white noise!
I guess it happens to all of us at one time or another. It can even be deadly if there is no escape found from it.
I like this a lot. I have tried this before, and i titled one in my gallery "white noise." I tried it, or saw it when i did it, but not as it is relating to the experiencing of it. You took it much further here. Very emotive piece of work! Very moving piece of work! You really hit this one square on the button!

Very cool!! It's like he's disappearing!! I love the darker paper you chose. It really adds to the mood of the piece I love it, as usual lol
